Along the way, learn about game tracking and look out for those unusual bugs and wildlife rarely spotted from a car. Walking safaris are not permitted in the reserve but can be arranged in Naboisho Conservancy.

Embark on a Cultural Tour with the Maasais

Incorporate a cultural tour for you to experience and participate in different cultural activities, and learn about the Maasai’s beliefs and the challenges affecting the survival of their way of life. During the safari, you have a chance to visit our Capacity Building Centres Koiyaki Guiding School, the health center, education and water programmes in Talek Town and the Basecamp Masai Brand (BMB) a handicraft workshop where women make traditional jewellery and leatherwork for sale in our curio shop.

You can almost feel the hope as it braves into the croc-infested waters into Kenya. Camera at the ready, heart pounding in your chest, you watch as the first wildebeest steps in, followed by herds of other wildebeests and zebras and the action begins The Great Wildebeest Migration is a truly delightful experience.

For those who consider camping as one of their favorite activities, setting up a camp at the Naboisho Conservancy can be a thrilling experience. You can spend one or more nights at different campsites and feel the thrill of sleeping in the middle of a bush surrounded by the sounds of wild animals. You will have Maasai guides and guards to make your stay as safe as possible.

After a day filled with exciting safari activities and wildlife viewing, the perfect way to round it off is with a Basecamp sundowner in the bush. Watch as the sun dip below the horizon with the sights and sounds of Africa all to yourselves while sipping on a refreshing drink enjoyed under an Acacia tree.
