Excellent location and superb hospitality!

We stayed in this camp for four nights and loved it. The camp is located next to the Ol Kiombo airstrip at Masai Mara. The accommodation area is surrounded by a lot of trees on the banks of Olare Orok river. You can watch the river & hippo pool from the restaurant area. The modern style tents are clean and have good beds along with a 24/7 hot water shower. WIFI is available in the reception area. The camp staff are very friendly & professional. We had a very good stay here.

Great place to stay!

We spent 5 weeks at Lorian, a small camp idyllically located on the banks of the Olare Orok river. The tents are very comfortable, with good beds, hot water shower, frequently changed towels and sheets and enough plug-in sockets for charging camera’s and phones.

Beautiful Place with excellent service!

The rooms are amazing, with electricity throughout, and hot water running, staff is very friendly and service is excellent. Food variety is good, although table service is rushed. Overall experience is fantastic!!! Definitely recommend the camp!

Best camp in Mara for Indian food and easy to reach!

The camp is located in the prime place in Mara triangle where you will be able to find good number of predators and the camp itself is house to the mara’s biggest lion pride the victory pride. The rooms here are divided into two types Standard tent with 3 single beds and luxury tent with king bed the entire camp is powered by solar and they have generator for backup too. Food all the ingredients used here is grown inside the camp so u can say its organic. There are 3 chefs who can cook aswme Indian food and international cuisine. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable they have wide knowledge on animals and well as good instinct. So as to conclude if ur looking for a best place to stay and see animals for sure then this is your place.

Warm and friendly place at the centre of Mara!

This was our first trip to Mara. The location of the camp is its biggest plus – 5 mins from the Olkiombo airstrip as well as less than 20 mins from any action that’s happening in the Mara plains. The tents were new, comfortable and well equipped, though there was issue with water seeping in during rains; but when you are in a tent in the middle of the jungle, these things are unavoidable. The housekeeping staff was excellent and served us masala chai across the day. The chef cooks great Indian food and provides plenty of vegetarian options. The staff at the camp are just amazing right from Masai security to the stewards, everyone was warm, friendly, and very accommodative. The day to day administration though requires an upheaval and better foresight.
